Terms of Service

1. Service Provider

The Epic AI Federated Cybersecurity Intelligence Platform ("Service") is owned and operated by protectNIL Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Company," "we," "us").

2. Acceptance

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Service Description

The Service provides AI-powered cybersecurity threat intelligence analysis through a federated multi-agent architecture. Responses are generated by artificial intelligence and are provided to support commercial cybersecurity evaluation, threat awareness, security operations planning, and integration testing. As with any AI-generated analysis, output should be validated against primary sources before use in production security decisions.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for any lawful commercial or professional purpose, including but not limited to cybersecurity threat analysis, security posture evaluation, vendor integration testing, incident triage support, compliance assessment, security operations planning, team training, and technology evaluation. The Service is designed for use by security professionals, IT administrators, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and enterprise technology teams.

Epic AI® is a registered trademark of protectNIL Inc. (U.S. Reg. No. 7,748,019). The Epic AI® mark is used in commerce in connection with software-as-a-service platforms featuring artificial intelligence for cybersecurity threat analysis, the open-source Epic AI® Core SDK (@epicai/core), and related software products and services. All rights in and to the Epic AI® mark are reserved. The Service, its design, underlying technology, and all associated intellectual property are proprietary to protectNIL Inc. Use of the Epic AI® name in connection with third-party products or services requires written authorization from protectNIL Inc.

5A. Commercial Licensing and SDK

The Epic AI® Core SDK is available as open-source software under the Apache License 2.0 at https://github.com/protectnil/epic-ai-core. The Apache License 2.0 governs your rights to use, modify, and distribute the SDK source code. Use of the Epic AI® trademark in connection with derivative works, commercial products, or services requires a separate trademark license from protectNIL Inc. Enterprise licensing, custom integration support, and managed deployment options are available by contacting licensing@protectnil.com.

6. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUT. Users are responsible for independently validating AI-generated analysis before incorporating it into production security workflows, consistent with industry best practices for AI-assisted decision-making.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROTECTNIL INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Privacy

Queries submitted to the Service are processed by third-party AI providers and are not stored by protectNIL Inc. beyond the duration of the request. We do not collect personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Clark County, Nevada.
